What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui literally means wind and water. They're direct carriers of energy across our planet. The practice of Feng Shui is modeled after nature and works with the
energy in our living and work spaces.
energy in our living and work spaces.
It is the art of creating spaces that feel great and support our lives! It uses a holistic worldview and sees all things interconnected. In fact, everything is energy including inanimate objects. The ultimate goal of Feng Shui is to intentionally create environments that support our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. This is an ancient art that originated in China and has been practiced for over 4000 years.
Black Sect Buddhist Feng Shui was brought to the United States in the 1970’s by Grand Master Lin Yun and is the most prevalent form of Feng Shui used in the United States. It is the school of Feng Shui that I studied and have been certified by the School of Wind and Water. It is not a religion but a philosophy. It blends the best of the East with the sensibilities of the West. It is intentional, highly practical and effective.
In my site selection service I also use Chinese Geomancy which is the study of the earth’s patterns. It is used to define the best places for human dwellings so you could say Geomancy is at the very root of Feng Shui.

Black Sect Feng Shui uses an energetic map call the Bagua and I superimpose it on the floor plan of your home. It provides a blueprint and a formula to enhance the nine significant areas of your life. This enables us to focus on each of the areas and intentionally improve the energy of each space and in-turn enhance that area of your life. We will look at everything from the home’s structure to wall color and the placement of furniture and artwork. Other things we consider are clutter, stagnant or stuck energy, elements and the balance of the masculine and feminine (Yin and Yang) in the home.
